It is important that both the client and the Therapist/ Esthetician have a clear understanding of the Spa treatment policies and procedures.
In order to help ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. Groupon voucher customer must made two week advance appointment .We do not accept booking schedule after 1pm on weekedn/holidays for groupon customer.
Cancellation/No show policy
Your spa treatments are reserved especially for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the Spa’s scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, Please notify us at least 12 hours in advance. Clients who fail to show up for their scheduled appointment time will not be rescheduled for future appointments.
All treatment sessions have a specific time schedule. Therefore we regret that late arrivals may not receive extension of scheduled appointments. In special cases, and when our schedule will allow, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. Late arrival is inevitable, your service may be shortened in order to keep on schedule and the original treatment time may be charged.
Prior to each treatment session,the treatment plan will be discussed with you.At your first visit with us you will be asked to sign the massage treatment/Facial treatment consent form/intake form stating that you have read the information,understand it,and agree to comply with the professional massage therapy or Facial treatment Policies and Procedures.Clients who we have not seen for at least a year may also be asked to fill out this form.
It is the responsibility of the client to keep the massage therapist informed of any medical treatment currently being taken, and to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that the massage may be continued.
You understand that the services provides are not a replacement for medical care, should not be construed as a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment, that no medical diagnosis will be made, and that you should see a medical provider for any medical issues you may have. It is your responsibility to inform the Spa of any pre-existing conditions, limitations, or specific sensitivities.
The client must also keep the massage therapist informed of any changes in health conditions.
Your massage therapy records are kept in the strictest confidence by this Spa. All client records are kept in a secure place and only those who need to see a client’s file for legitimate business or professional purposes have access to them. Your records will not be released to third parties, including health care providers and insurance companies without your written consent. Records may be surrendered if required by law.
Modesty Concerns/What to wear
Clients is never allowed unclothed in front of our therapist at our day spa.Towels/Sheet are provided and can keep you covered. Disposable undergarments are available on request. During all treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on.Male/female genitalia and women’s breasts will not be exposed or massaged at any time. Modest draping will be used during each of your services.Our well trained therapists in procedures to assure you are properly covered during the treatment and your privacy will always be respected.
If you do experience discomfort or pain or are uncomfortable for any reason during a service, you agree to immediately ask the therapist or esthetician to adjust the manipulation, draping, pressure, heat, or environment (or, if you prefer, you can ask the therapist or esthetician to end the service at any time). If the therapist or esthetician is unable to relieve your discomfort after you request an adjustment, you will inform the therapist or esthetician you would like to end the service immediately.
The therapy room door is never locked.
Unfortunately, Skin care products, Spa treatment, Spa packages and gift cards are not refundable.
Please leave all jewelry and valuable items at home. Healing stone Spa & Wellness center is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
Massage sessions are strictly non- sexual
Any suggestive statements or actions will result in immediate termination of the session wherein the client pays the full cost of the session, discussion of any kind between the client and the massage therapist is NEVER appropriate.
NEVER get “it” on in the room. EVER.a spa is a place of business and there is zero tolerance for any fooling around between client and client’s spouse parts.
Requests for sexual activity will not be tolerated, will be viewed as solicitation, and reported to the proper authorities if the therapist chooses, under the guidelines of the massage therapy policies and procedures. The client will not be rescheduled if this occurs.
The breast and genital area will not be massaged under any circumstances. Permission will be asked before working close to these areas; otherwise, a professional distance will be maintained.
Sexual interaction or discussion of any kind between the client and the massage therapist is NEVER appropriate.
We have the right to refuse service and therapist or client may end the session at anytime. If therapist ends session due to Sexual Misconduct full payment is due.
If the therapist feels at any point their safety is compromised, the session will be stopped immediately and authorities may be called and full payment is due.
We do not massage anyone under the age of 16 without signed intake form from parent/legal guardian. Parent must be present for first session and must be the one to schedule the appointment(s) after the first session. Parent/legal guardian must be present in the room for anyone under the age of 16.
Confidentiality and Conversation
The discussion between the massage therapist and the client is confidential. The client may or may not choose to talk during the massage.
It is inappropriate for a massage therapist to discuss the therapist’s personal life with the client.
We prefer to not discuss topics of a political, religious or sexual nature.
Spa specials cannot be used in combination with any other offer, promotions or third part gift certificates.
Gratuities are not included in your total purchase amount. It is common practice to tip 18%-20% of the original service price (for packages, this would be the single session amount). Please feel free to extend a gratuity as a result of your spa experience, our staffs are greatly appreciated.
We have strict policies in place and strongly enforce these policies for those who purchase Groupons . Groupon appointments can not arrange on holiday and weekends due to staff shift. Also we often receive no shows and late cancellations because it is a discounted service. Our therapists time is just as important as your time. If you do not agree to the our policies ; we suggest not purchasing a Groupon to our wellness spa.
One Groupon allowance – The Groupon voucher is an introductory offer for new clients scheduling a service at the spa. If you have been to the spa before for a service with our staff this means you can not redeem an additional Groupon voucher.fine print stated on the Groupon.
